Have you noticed what apps overlap the screen buttons more often? What exactly toolbar are you talking about? Much of the time the screen buttons remain on top, but they go under often enough to make the unreliability of this AWM feature a source of frustration.ĭo you mean it can happen with every screen button, independently on what app it belongs to?Ĭould you list the apps these screen buttons belong to. This kind of unpredictable failure to remain on top happens with app windows too. This is annoying when I inadvertently activate the toolbar when intending to click one of the screen buttons, but it's especially annoying when the screen buttons remain visible at first (after the toolbar unhides), but then the one I'm intending to use (or all of them) disappear before the mouse cursor reaches it. Sometimes, they remain visible initially after the toolbar unhides, but some of them disappear (go under) the toolbar as I move my mouse cursor over the toolbar. Quite frequently, some or all of these screen buttons are covered up by the toolbar when it unhides. I also have several screen buttons near (but not at) the right edge. None of them are completely reliable when it comes to remaining on top of other apps and Windows toolbars.įor example, I have a toolbar docked to the right edge of the screen and set to Autohide. They are all set to Permanent and On top. I have rules for several apps that include minimizing to screen buttons. Topic: « Screen buttons don't always remain on top
